Overview
Peaky Blinders is a 2013 historical crime drama television series created by Steven Knight for BBC. The second season continues the story of the Shelby family. The season is set in 1921. Tommy is expanding the family business into London. He comes into conflict with the Italian gang, the Sabini family. The season also introduces a new character, Alfie Solomons (Tom Hardy), a Jewish gangster who becomes a rival and an ally to Tommy. The second season ends with Tommy being shot by an assassin, but he survives. Peaky Blinders is a series that is known for its stylish cinematography, its anachronistic rock soundtrack, and its iconic fashion. Cillian Murphy's piercing blue eyes and sharp suits became iconic.
