Overview
Peaky Blinders is a 2013 historical crime drama television series created by Steven Knight for BBC. The fifth season continues the story of the Shelby family. The season is set in 1929, during the Wall Street crash. Tommy is now a Member of Parliament, and he is trying to legitimize his business. He is opposed by a new villain, Oswald Mosley (Sam Claflin), a fascist leader. The fifth season ends with Tommy having a mental breakdown, haunted by the ghost of his dead daughter. Peaky Blinders is a series about trauma, and the fifth season is its most psychological.
