Ted Lasso Season 4
Overview
Ted Lasso is a 2020 sports comedy-drama television series created by Jason Sudeikis, Bill Lawrence, Brendan Hunt, and Joe Kelly for Apple TV+. The series stars Jason Sudeikis as Ted Lasso, an American college football coach who is hired to coach an English Premier League soccer team, AFC Richmond, despite having no experience with soccer. The series is a heartwarming, optimistic, and genuinely funny comedy. The first three seasons followed Ted as he won over the team, the staff, and the fans with his folksy wisdom and his belief in others. The third season ended with Ted returning to Kansas to be with his son. A fourth season has been announced, but it is unclear how the series will continue without its lead character. The series has been a massive critical and commercial success, winning 11 Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series twice. Jason Sudeikis won two Emmys for Outstanding Lead Actor. The series is widely considered one of the best and most uplifting shows of the 2020s.
