Yellowstone Season 6
Overview
Yellowstone is a 2018 neo-Western drama television series created by Taylor Sheridan for Paramount Network. The series follows the Dutton family, who own the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the United States, located in Montana on the border of Yellowstone National Park. The series stars Kevin Costner as John Dutton, the family patriarch. The series follows John and his children: Jamie (Wes Bentley), Beth (Kelly Reilly), and Kayce (Luke Grimes). The family faces threats from developers, the neighboring Broken Rock Indian Reservation, and a hedge fund. The series is a modern Western, full of gunfights, horse riding, and stunning landscapes. It is also a family drama, exploring themes of legacy, loyalty, and the changing American West. Yellowstone has become a massive ratings success, especially on cable, and it has spawned multiple prequels: 1883, 1923, and 1944. The fifth season was split into two parts. The future of the series is uncertain due to reported conflicts between Kevin Costner and Taylor Sheridan. There is no confirmed sixth season yet.
