Overview
Silver Linings Playbook is a 2012 romantic comedy-drama film directed by David O. Russell, based on the 2008 novel by Matthew Quick. The film stars Bradley Cooper as Pat Solitano, a former history teacher who is bipolar and has just been released from a mental institution. He moves back in with his parents (Robert De Niro and Jacki Weaver). He is determined to get back together with his estranged wife.
