Overview
Star Wars: The Acolyte is a 2024 science fiction mystery thriller television series created by Leslye Headland for Disney+, set in the Star Wars universe. The first season is set at the end of the High Republic era, about 100 years before the events of Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace. The series follows a former Padawan (Amandla Stenberg) who reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes. They uncover a conspiracy that leads them to the dark side. The first season was a critical and commercial disappointment, criticized for its pacing and its writing. A second season has not been announced.
